Technology Recruiting Associate

As a Recruiting Associate, you will be focused on recruiting candidates across the organization, working to hire great people while providing an amazing experience to each and every applicant. Over time we hope you will have the opportunity move into a broader role in our talent group, taking on increased responsibility and growing professionally along with Warby Parker. 

We want to provide our candidates with an extraordinary interview experience. To that end, we must carefully and effectively review and handle job applications and treat our candidates exceptionally. You will be at the forefront of that effort!

What you'll do:

• Recruit candidates across the organization with a specialty focus on technology, design, and operations
• Act as the voice of Warby Parker and providing a “knock-your-socks-off” recruiting experience for candidates
• Manage multiple, concurrent job openings
• Answer candidate and recruiter phone calls and emails
• Coordinate interviews, resume reviews, and candidate reviews
• Constantly think of ways to improve hiring experience and interview protocols to prevent repeat problems and make the experience better for candidates
• Follow up with candidates after interviews
• Get involved in other areas of the business based on your interest and company needs

Extra credit:

• Good understanding (i.e. you can define these terms) of common Internet-related development languages, frameworks, etc., e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, PHP, SQL, etc.
• Previous recruiting and/or HR related experience
